0211. our complex minds exacts the desire for our bonding with another intelligent lifeform (be it physical or otherwise) so much that NASA is still spending billions on space projects trying to reach out to ETs since the 1940s.

on a level closer to us, this is much liken to us making friends with people displaying the ability to communicate on the same wavelength with us, hence, deemed "intelligent".

but in every case there are exceptions. exceptional cases of human beings processing non humanlike activities. like i just can never understand how an intelligent lifeform can subject himself to so much psychological decrepification (read: loneliness) to waltz into a cinema, sit there for 90 minutes or so and watch a movie all by himself.

because that draws the fine line between an activity needing the social nature of human beings as opposed to not having it at all which causes one to feel so solitary and... inhuman.

i may live alone. eat alone. shop alone. work alone. even die alone.

but i will never be caught watching a movie alone. never!
