0033. there were more people attending the gala premiere than i expected tonight at lido for indiana jones: the kingdom of the crystal skull. that, perhaps, explained why my anticipation of getting an indi jones goodie bag went out of the window.
talk about kiasu. the show starts at 9 and i, being rarely punctual and all, had to settle for the 4th row from the silver screen. luckily lido 4 was the puny kinda theatre that featured escalated seats from 1st row onwards. tsk, damn singaporeans. always arriving earlier than usual for free events and later than usual for paid ones.
the movie itself isnt much to review about. it's the same old elements in same old adventure stories. watch it only for the film's trilogy wrap up; a significant milestone in harrison ford's grey haired career.
i've only got 1 sentence to sum up the movie: indiana jones still packs a punch but the ET flick, sadly, doesnt quite deliver the blow.
i thoroughly enjoyed the company though. 3 flying saucers upon 5 for the film (0.5 being that it's free) and an overdosage of 10 upon 5 for the person i watched it with.
