0153. guys about my age around me are up and about, moving and shaking things with their lives. some are successful scholars in distinguished government bodies or arms. some are established financial players in various major banks and investment agencies.
some are just about achieving that degree they have worked hard for. some have made it rather famous making films and such.
some are getting married, some have gotten married and some have even become fathers.
yet im still stuck in the rut with my job as a pawn of a company that takes 5 months to think about my request and 5 minutes to decide on bringing my job to a whole new level - in a different direction as i have asked for.
i merely exist in the company to "fulfill a service contract". on top of that, i will not be learning much more than i have up to this point in time, i will have no where else to climb in this so called corporate ladder and i will have no increment in remuneration.
yes, i looked at my payslip today and almost wept.
god, i hate my job.
anyway, i came to conclude that i really dislike committing to a draggy length of work or school. i can neither stand either of those. maybe im more suitable to freelance, part time school and go on breaks as and when i wish... me being my own boss!
