tendrils of her incense smoke rose to the ceiling at the crowded temple today. being there told me a simple truth: she needed to calm the turmoil in her heart.
i kept still and held my palms together, kneeling silently beside her amidst the rumbling commotion within the prayer hall. even though nothing was said between us and the buddha, i knew she was praying to finally find peace and be released from all this mess she is in.
what i truly hope is for her to let go of all the chaos that's mangling her, learn a valuable lesson and move on.
