0133. frankly, i was rather amazed that angelina jolie had almost as little lines in wanted than a spider has legs. she served an ornamental function instead of a character contributing to the plot so without her, the story would still have moved unaffected. her tattoo was awesome, despite the fact that you'll only get to see the full thing for roughly 2 and a half seconds.

there was neither any hot, steamy kiss-then-sex scene nor was there any sparks even slightly spluttering off the two lead roles. the only kissing scene looked rather forced and there were no feelings involved between the two of them in the story before, during and after they locked lips. if you're looking for a romance factor in this film, sorry sir, no go.

so much from the ex lara croft actress other than bending a couple of bullet trajectory and brandishing absurd looking bendy-guns (imagine guns that could flex like bendy-buses) inside a grocery mart.

now for the lead actor, what was his name again? boy, ive never seen him on screen before, but he was brilliant... far outshining any one of the other talents, including veterans of veterans like morgan freeman. his expressions and his voice really portrayed the "why me?!" character with ease while he was being hunted down, and he managed to smoothly transit into who he was truly meant to be. well done unknown wanted male lead. *clap*

the story itself had twists, but disappointingly, they were predictable. like for example a couple of good twists that could have been used as a wrap up for the film were dished out like candy to kids. real generous of the story writers. tsk.

however, the script was witty and it merged with the film's visuals with exceeding expectations. some parts appeared rather jump cut-ish but it achieved the desired affect. great direction from the film makers!

all in all, 3.5 rats upon 5. be warned though, dont walk out of the theatre feeling that "THIS MOVIE IS BULLSHIT, THOSE SCENES WERE IMPOSSIBLE!" yes, it was supposed to be that way. wanted deliberately contains a heap of unrealistic and unconventional elements compared to your usual action movie gunfight, car chase and explosions.

and yea, a hint, 1000 rats!
